Single hooks for topwater

Although I never was what you would call an "avid" topwater fisherman, I have done my share, I guess. I used the single hooks 15 years ago with double HD split rings and short shank hooks. When I said the setup was overkill....I did not mean the ring was unnecessary.

the spintech is a very cool hook.. we've been carrying them for about a year at the tackle box, they work well. takes alot of leverage away from the fish.

.. we also carry the gamakatsu 'double 21' hooks. they're a little more weedless than traditional trebles.
