Red face Back in south Louisiana

Made it back south of I-10 yesterday after a week of hanging out in north Louisiana. A strange smell was coming from the carport, opened up the freezer and that was the culprit. Specks, reds, whole flounder, white perch, 25 lbs of shrimp, and deer meat bye bye. Had to put some vapor rub under my nose to get in there and clean it out.

I was just getting mad at the ducks and deer because I had enough fish to last, but now I am just mad

That is the 2nd worst smell I have ever encountered. In high school my buddy and I went bream fishing and caught some bream and he kept them. He had a party 3 weeks later and I went around the side of his house to go to the bathroom and an ice chest was there, I opened it and there they were. He did not clean the fish, and it was just a black liquid in there, and it stunk up the entire yard

I saved shaws butt some trouble...he left our fish in his livewell and forgot to take them out. Fish were caught monday, he left wednesday and texted me at 3 in the morning. I couldnt get them until thursday morning. Thankfully it was not summertime. It stunk, but the fish were solid. Had it been any longer, I would have lost my lunch. I hate the smell of rotting.
