Thanks for the report, those youngsters look like they had a great time. Leeville use to be my fall/winter hotspot, I miss those days.

Sure did! And it was PACKED. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but as usual, it was worth the wait.
We make a trip there every fall. I'm looking for a place closer to saltwater fish. I live in North La, and Boudreaux's is about 7 hours from here. Is there any good places to stay and fish in New Iberia?

if you want to fish saltwater in the fall and stay in new iberia then v bay would be the place to fish saltwater. its like 20 to 30 mins away from new iberia. have sereval launches around lydia or delcambre.

Where you live in north La? Big Lake is a way more consistent bite in the fall than Vermillion Bay. Also there is more places right next to the water to stay.

I live about 3 1/2 hours north of Layafette, I'm about 20 minutes south of Junction City, Arkansas. Big Lake will be a straight shot for me. Any hotel referrals?

If you are looking to rent a camp try these people, http://www.biglakeguesthouse.com/ . I have rented form them several times and have always been pleased.

There is also the A+ Motel Carlyss, Rooms at Spicers in Hackberry, or various camps for rent
