Prien Lake 12-3-11 morning
Buddy started catching on a chicken in a chain swimbait under a cork. I tried topwater and caught my first three ever on topwater! It's true what y'all been saying too, they were bigger fish than what was coming on the cork. I would have had more but on the fourth strike my leader broke and there went my lure. It was an orange and blue color but I forget what brand...gonna hit academy to look for more. Later we went down by the country club and caught some on glow/chart sand eels. We ended up with 11 trout and we were back I'm the road with plenty of time to get home to Lafayette and BR for the game. The topwater was a skitter walk.
