I like it alot so far. A nice change of pace from working on automobiles and outboards. Pay is much better too.

Nondestructive testing,mostly shooting xray and processing the film for land and offshore rigs.

that ain't a gravy train job is it, I use to do oil and gas measurement on land and off shore, the good thing with off shore is when you are done you get to sit, eat and get paid till they decide to move you around

Stupid easy....there are several other methods of testing that are more in detail but the company I work for mainly does xray. Hardest thing so far has been training my eyes to adapt to the dark rooms when processing the film. Haha....looking forward to going offshore and making some chedda.

I worked NDT for awhile!! Key word:worked...lol....at least you'll get fed well and make some money OS....

I don't mind working. Coming from doing knuckle busting mechanic work this is cake mix to me. How did you like it?

You fo sho not the hardest working folk out der....alot cleaner too....and it depends if you a helper or a lvl ll tech of how physical it can be...haulin cameras up stairs suck....

Yeah I could see how the cameras could get heavy going up stairs. If that is as physical as the job gets that is right up my alley.

A good backpack that you can haul tools and equipment in is very nice offshore, I had a small bag for cloths and all my tools and electronics in a backpack.
