Default taxidermy

i have a wood duck and mallard i need to get mounted

killed them in january and froze them the right way but i need to get them done soon.

anyone know anyone good in the BR area that is a good price

i got a guy in parieville he is doin a fish for me now and hes done some of my friends fish and deer pm me if u want his info or i can bring u by his house sometime

"Hole in the wall taxadermy" had a few deer heads andi have 3 ducks and an otter there now...she does EXCELLENT work.. Not in the baton Rouge aera but ill give you directions if you need

Just for future reference I had a Ross goose and two Blue wings in the freezer for 3 years and my taxidermist said they look greatl,I just got them back and they are fine.I rap them in paper towels(dry)and put them in a gallon freezer bag.

what is the best way to freeze a fish if you want to get it done later?

I have a guy that did my pintail last year. I'll send ya his info if ya want it. Think he charged me $150. Great work! Oh yeah, he's right here in the Gonzales area.

For a fish you need to wet the paper towels then seal it in a freezer bag. I have 3 fish on the wall and 1 @ the taxidermist.Two of the ones I already have I had brought the same week I caught them and they came out perfect.This last one i left in the freezer for about 2 years and he just called to tell me that its loosing scales so it wont be AS nice a mount.One of the ones I already have was done by a different tax. and it lost scales but still looks good.They are all 3lb plus Sac-a-lait.
