This year of fishing ended just as great as it started. We went out with a bang yesterday with hungry trout eating up everything in sight. A very foggy morning as without a GPS we would have not made the early morning run. A very slow falling tide made for some great trout 'catching' and water quality was as good as I've ever seen it for inside fishing. The water was gin clear and the trout could see your lure from 5 ft away! We easily caught and iced up 150 trout between 2 boats (75 each boat) and was finished up by 8:00am. My crew consisted of Robert Burke MD,William Burke,Tommy Duplantis, and 7 yr old Jack Burke. The crew came in to fish from Houston,Tx and Virginia. We left the fish biting with 75 on ice to look for a few reds since the guys were on a tight schedule with a plane to catch. Found 1 big red and they couln't be happier about the catch. Craig 'Big Nutria' Fusson,Stanley Bussey and Paul Hale busted up their limits of 75 fish as it was a great morning to do the DU! Good luck fishing and happy new year to everyone!
