Default New Dodge Durango nx vehicle?

Well the family is about to get bigger. I have a baby on the way, due date April 25. Also 2 boys 5 and 6 years old. Thinking of trading the 08 .GMC SIERRA 1500 55000 miles tx edition for the durango w/ the hemi. Does anyone have one? How is the hemi on gas and how is it towing area?

I been drivin around a tahoe for the past 2 weeks while southern151 is fixing my truck, I'm pretty impressed with it except the 3rd row seating is kinda cramped for leg space. I'm also looking for a suv for my fiancé , but the leg space in the 3rd row for the Tahoe is a big deal breaker, I cant convince her to look at the ford expedition, she had no problem test driving land/range rovers lol ....go figure but I'm worried about the bad reviews on the electrical systems and the crummy resale but they let her run it through the ditch in front of the dealership in rock crawl mode and it was bad arse!! So basically we have yet to find "the perfect" suv so we will continue to look until we find something we like . Just do your research and test drive everything so you are loaded with info aka "ammo" when you bite the bullet and decide to buy

Look at the Yukon XL. Alpha and Pox. Call me and, I'll arrange a test drive with NO salesman involved. I do all the work for a local GM dealer and, I can make it happen. They're awesome vehicles!

My sister has a Yukon. It's nice, but we want something totally different. Not that much of a difference on the inside between the gmc trucks/Yukon and Chevy/tahoe there boring lol

Dodge is notorious for transmission issues. Had a dodge and Ughhhh! They do look great though.

Well with the 5 year 100000 mile warranty, I'm sure it won't be a problem getting anything fixed, If it breaks.

Failure can happen with any vehicle. One that is more apt to fail, regardless of warranty, will not leave the Mrs. any less pissed if it does fail! Lol!

Dodge haters........all I drive is dodge never once have I had a issue with one of my vehicles except minor stuff .driving an 09 RAM and I have 90k on it already not any problems. Bet they won't pull up next to you with any of them trucks and talk with the hemi in a durango. My truck gets 20 on hwy and will run and pull like a scalded ape.

I have a 2011 dodge 1500 with the hemi and 21,000 miles on it and every time I drive it I say man I love this truck! We just purchased a 2012 dodge journey for the wife and she loves it. It has 3rd row seating but it is pretty tight back there. It has a new interior design and the new 3.6. It gets 25mpg and my truck gets 21

we just got my wife the Acadia and she loves it, has the captains chairs in the middle, and has 3rd row. It allows us to use the 3rd row with 2 car seats in the middle, but if you need leg room for the 3rd row it probably wont be the vehicle for you

I have a 97 dodge 1500 witht the 5.9 v8.....192147 and still on original transmission. God willing it will make it to december, getting a new truck for graduation. Have had to replace things here and there, but its held up for the most part. Different story for my dash, thing is cracked and broke to hell.
