Went weekend after new years and stayed the weekend. Ran yo-yos and ended up with about 20. Bite was slow and mostly around daybreak. Caught mixed bag with one at 2lb 13oz.

Indian creek is a great lake to fish this time of the year. I use to tent camp there all the time and tear up the bass. Don't have to worry about the ski boats and jet skis right now either.

That's right.
Learn the creek channels, drop offS & move way out on the points & you'll fill the live well. Only time I beat the banks there is spring time looking for beds.

WHat are the baits of choice for Indian Creek. I have a relative who fishes it alot during the spawn and throws nothing but wacky worms in plum, june bug, sour grape and cotton candy.

Caroline rig flukes, lizards, finesse worms & 4" frys on the points. Start shallow & work your way out till you find them. Have caught out to 30' of water.
Stiff wind on points, Carolina rigs, traps & cranks have done well.
