We fished the Butte Larose canal yesterday. Knew with the wind we weren't going to catch but just wanted to see how the hyacinths were doing. The pontoon bridge at Butte Larose is now closed. It was open for a while to get the hyacinths to go through. After getting an airboat stuck on the pile, they had to get a machine to lift them out. They are now spread out on the bank. It was thick enought to where people were able to walk on the pile in the water!! We stopped at McGees for a burger and beer and to listen to some good music. The south flats are clear. The landings along that area are also clear. I'm sure Jake can say more about his end. It all depends on the winds and if the north winds this week will blow the hyacinths back in the area. The area near the public launch has been blocked. The dog leg was open when we saw it a couple of days ago. The water level is still coming down so the fish should be coming out of the woods. Good luck!!!

Hi, it's Jake with Kern's Landing. The water on this end is looking GREAT. The boulevard and Kern's Pit are completely clear of lillies with easy access to the lake via the boulevard or I-10. Started getting reports of anglers catching. Waters dropping slowly. Come check it out!

Kern's Landing is easy to get to. Take Exit 115 off I-10. When you get to the levee in Henderson, stop you will see the sign, then cross the levee and your there. Easy access to 1-10 cut or the boulevard. Stop by. Jake
