The specks in my opinion don't move that much with dropping salinities, however their feeding habits become different. Fish stay on the bottom until levels rise. I fish mostly VB and do find that we can catch fish in rather muddy fresh water. They do hug the bottom with the baits needing to be slowly worked. Ever notice the color difference of specks caught in a low salinity area?
