Curado E7 = best bang for your buck, very durable, very smooth, cast far ( not as far as the core 50mg)I very rarely clean them and I've never had a problem with them. I still have the first E7 I bought when bass pro received the 1st shipment of them when they changed em ( maybe 5 yrs ago?)
Chronarch d7- very very smooth casting and on the retrieve, a little heavier than the curado but it feels more solid build than the curado with less play in the handle, and like it has more cranking power slightly larger than the curado and core50 . I've waded with this reel I've surf fished with this reel ( and the curado) and have submerged it in saltwater. never had to replace any parts but i have had it cleaned/serviced .
Core 50mg - Ive had it rebuilt a few times, very light, casts very far but not as smooth as Chronarch but about the same as a curado E7. Same if not more "play" in the handle as curado. Reel was ok until I waded with it and dunked it. I rinse it but like w said you really need to baby it . If I only freshwater fished I'd own all cores but I rarely fish freshwater so I'd buy a curado E7 or Chronarch d7 b4 I'd buy another core 50 mg

Great review. I would love to put a Core on my Laguna but I constantly hear mixed reviews, and IMO for a reel at that price there should be no doubt it will hold up. The Curado E7 is comparable to an AK - it's not sexy or the lightest but you can beat the crud out of it and know it's still gonna work.
I won a new Citica a few months ago and have been pleased with it thus far, for what it is. It won't outcast my tuned Curados but it's extremely smooth, at least for now...
