Real question

I just got back from Matagorda and Trinity and fish Texas pretty regualrly. Texas overall has bigger trout 12lb. + , but Calcasieu has way more fish in the between region. Again this is all circumstancial, who you are fishing with and weather conditions play a big part. Baffin Bay in February & March is hard to beat b/c there are monsters potentially lingering around, and I have caught my two biggest fish there in 99' & 2000. But the Calcasieu bite for big tout is on 12 months a year, they are just patterened dramitically different throughout. I absolutely love Big Lake and would not want to call any where else my fishing home....
