come on cspan.......i take it you have never been to a race. i tell everyone don't judge it till you go and experience one in person. i would go to the parties and not watch the race before just to drink and socialize. but after going to a race and seeing all of this im hooked. Plus my dad is a huge fan so on sunday's it wasn't an option at our house..... my wife and my son are both hooked now i took them to talladega a couple of years ago. they loved it

Maybe going to a race is fun, but watching it on TV isn't

Once you watch a race in person it takes it to another level, even makes it interesting to watch on tv. I hated it until I was invited to Talladega a few years ago and now I'm hooked bad bad.

I second that! I didn't care for it until I went to my first race. I am hooked now. I have been to Texas once and talladega twice. I want to go to Bristol next and see a short track race.

Texas Motor Speedway is a good track. The RV overnight parties are where it's at!

I drove a tow truck at Lowes once. That was cool!!! Later that year, I got the opportunity to ride my motorcycle on the track.....they kept us at 80mph though. Those high corners are scary scary when your coming up to it at speed!!!
