Springtime

Were not officially there yet, but I'll call it. The little blue herons and grobecs arrived en masse today in my neck of the woods. Time for me to plant this week. Crawfishing has been not good. Catching a ton of 1-3 inchers with a dip net. Big ones aren't eating yet. Saw a couple solo hen hooded mergansers while checking traps; didn't think they breed here. There are still a few snows around also.
