I have another one to post tonight... Its the "bridge" that crossed the River by what is now the Port of Lake Charles, the foundation is still standing next to Bridge Side Marina...

Sweet. My neighbor has the Ferry pictured framed, considering since that is our home.

The original crossing sight on the Ferry Road is still there, just gated off.

There's a painting of that bridge where I work. A lot has change from back in the day.

Fool.....are you talking about the old ferry landing site that is at the end of Goos Ferry road coming from the north side of the river?

I use to launch my boat there and fish that area. I thought maybe the state or Parish still owned that land.
