Tentively the SFA Annual Supper will be held on August 17th at the American Legion Building in Lydia. . 2. Entry Fees & Registration - There is an entry fee of $100 per event per boat. Maximum of 4 members per boat. Registration will be completed the morning of the tournament. REGISTRATION WILL END AT 5:50 A.M. Any angler, who violates any of the provisions as listed in this section, may be subject to forfeiture of tournament winnings, suspension from competing in SFA events, permanent ban from competition, or any combination thereof deemed appropriate by Tournament Board. 5. Permitted fishing methods & locations - All fish must be caught alive in a conventional sporting manner. Anglers may not catch fish or weigh in fish that have been caged or confined in an area prior to the tournament. Contestants may fish anywhere on tournament waters accessible to the public by boat, except areas designated as “off limits” or “no fishing” by private ownership or local, state and federal officials. Contestants may not fish within 50 yards of a competitor’s boat, which was in a location first, and anchored. (An anchored boat is a boat held in a stable position by a line attached to a weight, push pole, power pole, etc. with trowling motor in the upward position) All angling must be conducted from the boat. All Redfish will be measured with mouth closed and with pinched tail. Fish shall be measured left to right, the nose of the fish to the officials left and the tail toward the official’s right. The belly of the fish will always be placed toward the person measuring the fish. Any part of the tail that passes over the established line will cause that fish to be disqualified. If there is adequate cause for suspicion, any member can be subject to a polygraph test to confirm honesty. SFA Membership Application 01/19/12 9.
