I would rather fight a pit bull than tell either one of my kids they can't get a picture with their catch. Heck my little boy took a proud picture of an oyster he caught last year. There's no way I could ever do something like that to them. I love em to much.

I am a Yankee that moved to Shreveport 9 years ago. I moved here to take a job I had been offered. One of the primary reasons I took the job was because I love to fish and Louisiana and Texas reputation as a world class fishing destination. I had primarily bass fished prior to the move. I had never fished in salt or brackish water. I still bass fish most of the time, but have made seven or eight trips to Hackberry. All I know about specs, redfish and flounder have come primarily from fishing reports on this website. I have never used a guide and have caught fish on every trip. I fish out of my Skeeter bass boat, but will be trading for a bayboat before I retire in 5 years.

I appreciate this site and the fishing reports. I have learned techniques, locations, baits that I never would have known about without this website. While I sometimes have to wade though some BS to find what I am looking for, I recognize it for what it is and keep coming back.. Keep up the good work.

Default Changes

I really like the changes that have been made.

My son loved to look at the pictures of fish but I had to quickly scroll down to avoid some of "those" pictures.

It is now family friendly and we can both enjoy it together.
