Default Finally went to Henderson !!!

Great trip, super nice folks to include Jake Kern who I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with this morning...

Launched out of McGee's, again nice people there, fished out of the launch and South back into another landing and along some camps (talked with Ms Jean, cool old gal who lives on a houseboat) then fished along the levee for an hour or so... Bite was slow early, worked my way south down to a bridge (forgive me, new territory) went East into "good" water and then South again into a big bayou with allot of big camps and houses... Finally got on a good bite fishing drains that were coming out of the east bank across from these camps...

Ended up with five short fish (didnt keep any) and a really nice morning...

You guys around Lafayette have a great fishery there

Jake, keep us posted on the lillies and water levels !!!

Thanks,
Hydro

Yes,too much grass. In the summer it gets so bad you can only fish the outside edges it gets matted so bad. It should be a really good year once the water gets to a normal level. The lake needed some fresh water. Im ready to start busting some sacalait in my summertime spots.
