I fish Lake P a bunch and have fished Big Lake maybe 5 times. My first trip to Big lake I caught some really nice specs just fishing moving water north of Heberts landing. Guess I got real lucky being a first timer and all and have done well there several other times.
It took me years to learn Lake Pontchartrain and from time to time get skunked out there but I have pulled some mean *** stringers from that long bridge.

So in my opinion I would probably say Lake Pontchartrain is tougher to learn to fish if that is indeed the question but as we all know,on any given day it can be feast or famine depending on conditions which both bodies of water are Susceptible to.
