Default Reds, Reds, Reds part 2

Decided to go do some fishing with Ray and all that was found was dirty nasty water everywhere. We picked off a couple of trout in Westcove and the water was just plain nasty. I told Ray I know where some clean water is at but I don’t think we going to catch very many trout just some reds and away we went to my little hole by Moss Lake where the water was looking right and the reds were there for the taking. All the reds caught were 25 inches and above to right at 26 and 3/4 inches. None of the reds caught went under 6 lbs. The two biggest went 7 and 7.5 lbs. Ray likes the trout but there is nothing like the fight of a red ripping drag. The outfitting was done by the good people at The Tackle Box. The Lews reel that was used today was asking for mercy and at the same time asking for more.Bait used today was the Bang Time cork with a chart. swim mullet under it. The water temp was 76 to 77 degrees and not yet gin clear but was clear enough to see the foot of the trolling motor. Going to need a new Bang Time cork mine kind of got bent today and I will say it has lasted longer than I expected it to. It was a good day to be on the water.

Thumbs up

That's what I'm talking about ! Reported like a true sportsman. He went out with less than ideal water conditions. Adjusted his location and tactics due to the conditions and succeeded. He then shared enough detail of his success to possibly assist other sportsmen in succeeding also. Thanks for setting a good example for the rest of us to follow.
