Thanks Trey!!!!
Went to Seafood king in Hammond La on my way to Florida and picked up 2 sacks of real nice crawfish for $1.79 lb. They offer a choice of spillway or pond crawfish for the same price. The pond sacks are 32 -38 lbs and the spillway sacks are 40 - 48 lbs.
being that i had limited ice chest space i got 2 sacks of the pond crawfish and put them in a 120 qt chest . layer of ice on the bottom and a bag of ice w/ a few holes cut in the bag on top of each sack. 7 hr drive ,boiled one sack fri night and 1 sack Sat afternoon. Zero dead crawfish . The craw fish were VERY clean and did not need a salt water purge.
