![]() How do you know what shaft length to get without putting Boat in the water, and measuring from the Bow to the Water ??? My Boat is very similar to a Kenner, but shallower. Very similar to Haynie's Hull. |

On a bay boat, get the longest you can. You can raise or lower it as needed. If it is too short, you can't keep it in the water on rougher days

I have a 62" on my bass boat and you definitely dont have to worry about it coming out the water

Sounds like you might have a HAWK bay boat. Good investment!

62" is best for a bay boat. Don't go any shorter.
