Default Where to go?

Weedeater and myself are going to be making a feeshing trip tomorrow afternoon. I can't decide on wether to go put in Calcasieu Point or just go on the river. Neither one of us have much knowledge on fishing that the north end of Big Lake. I'm not asking for secret spots or coordinates. Any info on areas or baits to throw would appreciated.

Launch at Cal Point hit the north end of Big Lake and look for the boats . Be courteous and find the fish .Its that easy . There has been a bird or two workin that area lately I hear so look for them also. Good Luck .
