Very nice boats, great design & layout.
All hardware is top notch
Wiring is done very neat.

The 2400 is a beast
The 2200 is a big 22 ft boat

Loads of storage!
Get max HP
They heavy

But company is dissolved
Parts are hard to find; gotta go to Florida dealers

If its a good price look at it!

What year you looking at? The new hulls or the older modeled 2101 or 2202's? Had a 2202 with a 200 Yamaha saltwater series and it was a great boat. I never had a problem with the boat Built like a tank and rode well especially for a modified v. Don't have a lot of info for the new hull but century boats are used and abused all over Florida. They just don t sell them anymore in this neck of the woods

Century was rated number one or number two by JD Powers about five years ago. When Yamaha picked them up they really improved their game. Too bad they are out of business. I have not been in one but I have never heard anything but good things about the ones built in the last 7 or 8 years.

Out of business? The website says there's an inshore model coming in 2013.

Do not hold your breath on Century boats being made anytime soon, Allcraft marine is better known as Stumpknocker boats a low end boat company.

here's what yamaha has to say about allcraft boats...and then a compliment to the previous maker:

copied and pasted:

“We are very pleased that the Century brand will live on,” said Dean Burnett, Vice President of Yamaha Marine Group. “Century has a long and rich history in the marine industry, and we believe that Allcraft Marine will be a great steward of the Century tradition. The brand’s new owners clearly have a passion for producing high-quality products.”

Century was known for a high level of customer satisfaction and was consistently recognized for achieving high CSI index scores.

And how one " name " can make high end & low end.
