I could go on for hours on this topic! Like CM Drost, I to have big "Pipe Dreams" of retiring to Costa Rica!!!
Went on a couples trip several years ago and stayed at Hacienda Dorado. It was during the rainy season which is equivalent to our summer shower season. Fishing was incredible. One day we hooked 19 sails, the next day we only hooked 4, but were targeting tuna and dorado. Another place we enjoyed was Mazatlan Mexico. Mazatlan was more "touristy", but was really nice also.
