Just happened to look at what is going on in grand isle the weekend of june 1st.
2 big rodeos , 1 at bridgeside (invitational) 1 at sand dollar. June 1-2 – OMSA Annual Cajun Tropic Fishing Rodeo (Invitational), Bridge Side Marina June 2-3 – New Orleans Electrical Association Rodeo, Sand Dollar Marina If you plan on buying live bait at either of these marinas on fri or sat you had best be in line at 4:30 - 4:45 am.
