I like it because it is just throw and go for wharf fishing, just reel in regular and they hammer it for fast and furious wharf fishing. Some of these swim baits tend to not swim right and swim on their side. Tie a new one on.

Sometimes a like to get a few live croaker/mullet to throw out and let sit just past where the lights end. I find thats where the bigger trout and reds hang.
