Default Vermilion Bay Sunday....

Still within sight of the camps at the Point. Burned 1 gallon of fuel! Started at 3:30pm and limited by 6:00pm. Water has 2" visibility, had to fish it real slow on the bottom. 3/8 head with black char. tail. Had some real nice ones.....untitledfish memorial.jpg

I'm fishing in 6-7ft; on the bottom.....slowly! Water was very muddy but poggies everywhere, along with a few black tips.....don't believe what the salinity numbers are showing....thats just a top of the water column reading...saltier on the bottom.

Gotta have confidence. I will be staying at friends camp soon, and will be bringing my nephew. I won't be able to make the run to the pass so I may have to give it a try near the point.
