Construction has started
Construction started on the reef earlier this week. There is a media day dedication ceremony today at 10:00 at Calcasieu Point, then out to the reef around 10:30. Any and all are welcome.
Attached is a video that Tim Osborn of NOAA took of the project getting under way. Cool side note is that one of the workers caught some reds at the site loading dock before heading out. A good sign & omen.
