if you really think about it, I'm sure people in his area are hip to his quality because all his sales and stuff are off of texas and louisiana fishing sites. nothing on any florida sites. soo why would a "great" rod builder be selling all his rods 3 states away instead of in his own state

No doubt.....will stick to local builders from here on out. Lesson learned
