I think bedliner would still get too hot. I know in my truck I wouldn't be in it barefoot during the summer. Carpeting my boat was well worth it. You could probably use rubber mats. Tractor supply has stall mats ive heard of people using. I dont think they wouod get as hot as aluminum but they would still get pretty hot
