Rent a pontoon boat and take the whole crew to the inside sand bar for the day. Get one with a roof and slide..tons of fun for everyone. Take a day and go to Sand Destin on the bay side..plenty of shops, marina and good eatin' spots. In ol destin is AJs.........take your wife at night. Try a head boat with the crew and go catch some snapper for supper that night.....

San Destin is really nice. They have a nice outlet mall for the wife, and across the street from the San Destin Hilton on the sound side is a pretty cool little village. It has a bunch of shops and some pretty good restaurants. Last year they were having a chipping contest paying out $1,000 if you could chip it in at 30 or so feet with a wiffle(sp?) ball. I was about 1' off. Guy after me was inches!! Also, you have to go parasailing.

Bay town warf is by far the best place too go for drinks, food and fun... It's a mini bourbon street with out all the crazies and dirtiness... It's family friendly with games for kids and live bands... I would for sure go by there one night with the family.... It has many restaurants and lil bars in it... Rock walls, kids face painting, kids crafts, new Orleans daqs, etc etc, |

is nothing wrong with our inshore fishery here! Although it is a more trying fishery we have evolved a little further than Truite Gris fishing endlessly. And have learned to vary our fishing to species we have here in the Bay system, Nothing wrong with an inshore slam of Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Gray Trigger Fish, Gulf Flounder, Southern Flounder, Pompano, and of course the Red Fish. But back to the OP's question Try McGuires Irish Pub on Hwy 98 in Destin 850-650-0000 EXCELLENT Steaks and they have there own Brewery. For Old Florida Seafood Nicks Seafood Restaurant Hwy 20 on the north side of the Bay in Freeport 850-835-2222 . |

| No you can get there by car, its some type of state park with shower facilities and what not. Its on the Bay Side, it's a beach with no waves and clear water. Its about a foot deep for 100 yards, we went pretty far out and only got waste deep. They have folks out there kite surfing and stuff, its pretty cool. Really goos if you have kids who don't like the waves knocking them down on the beach. |
