Nice lookin pup, enjoy the puppy phase it doesn't last long. A good DVD and book especially for beginners is Smartworks by Evan Graham, check out his videos on YouTube. You can start his puppy program now. If you don't care for that, try Bill Hillman's Training a Retriever Puppy, Mike Lardy's Total Retriever Training, or Rick Stawski's Fowl Dawgs. A Retriever Club is also a wealth of knowledge. Good luck and enjoy it.
