Don't worry about the weight. They are evenly distributed and the weight is not a factor. Also you can put a liner in it that will hold the water if the mattress springs a leak. Have three in a trailer for 10 years and never was a problem. Youngest son tried until he finally made it leak and the liner held the water. Go for it.
