Default MathGeek Study at Jetties Today (Pier)

Wow! We greatly appreciate the cooperation of Salty Cajun members and other local anglers in allowing us to weigh and measure fish at Calc Pt this past week. Yesterday was an especially good day, and preliminary analysis shows that we have acceptable numbers of (non-bull) redfish and specks and impressively low uncertainties. Even though it is tempting to stay at Calc Pt today and double our numbers of redfish and specks, we really need to weigh and measure a lot more drum and bull redfish. Consequently, we'll be at the jetties today, near the pier, beginning at around 1:00 PM.

Thanks for the heads up. Even if the pier is closed, folks will be fishing from the rocks and catching drum. Also, we saw folks fishing from both the pier and the rocks on Thu.
