i haven't fished there in a couple of years........but it looks like the forecast is for sub 10mph winds out of the south. If the water is trout green I would be on those jetties. IMHO

SW wind might not be bad if it's to too strong. Had a SW wind yesterday eve but the high pressure had the gulf so beat down water was still pretty.

For what its worth, Im driving from Leesville Sunday to fish the beach. Sometimes you just gotta go when you get the chance and hope for the best.

I got a new Shimano I'm itching to use and my brother got a new Penn he wants to try out near as bad.

Yeah I think we're gonna try it out saturday morning just for the heck of it and to learn the area some. Won't hurt trying! Good luck!
