It depends on how far you go back. In 2004 and 2005, my dad put me on tv with him. Of course, we were still doing cheesy ads back then. Eventually, I convinced my dad and myself to change up the format. I have to say, it was pretty embarrassing for a while, but people seem to remember the cheesy stuff...... so I guess they were effective? Now it's just me and our management team talking about good deals at Bolton Ford.

You are 100% right about remembering the cheesy stuff. When i think of Bolton Ford I remember you and your dad doing those commercials. I didn't want to say they were cheesy to you but you said it and trust me, people remember those commercials.....thats not a bad thing either.

Glad you are on the board.
I use to buy a new F150 every two years and gave the selling dealer all my service due to the relationship with service writer David Monk. He knew I was busy and when I would call for a quick oil change he said yes I can do it or no. Got all my transmission flushes, new tires, flush radiator, etc. I would give him the little piddly stuff when do oil change like windshield wipers, air filter etc. Even though I could do it cheaper I appreciate the service. Price wise tit for tat to private shop. The good service kept me buying my next truck. My 07 I just came in for oil change and close to being up for a new truck. Saw truck I liked and bought it didn't think twice due to I knew David would take care of the truck. Truck wise I probably paid the same maybe more on one or two of my trucks.

When dealer changed staff in service department I tried a new Ford dealer. After that I changed over to Dodge. I do not keep a truck long enough to test the longterm reliability. What I like is the service department. Putting over 100,000 miles in two years on a truck service side important to me.

Perfect timing for this shout out for King Bolton / Bolton Ford. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting King through several emails this week. I just happened to be reading a forum on Salty Cajun and seen that he was with a Ford dealership. I sent him a private email about a problem with a F250, purchased from another location and the factory warranty is on the verge of going out. After getting quotes on extended warranties from another Ford dealership, I chose to get a quote from King Bolton. His quote was several hundred dollars cheaper, plus he drove to Scott, LA today to meet with my wife to sign the new contract for our extended warranty. Not only have we found a new Dealership for our Ford F250, but met a great person who we can call or email directly with and Ford issues..Thanks for all you have done for us Mr King Bolton....

Positive or negative, I need your criticism. We have many things we're working on to improve, and we're far from perfect. I'll let the forum know when I decide on an official discount or added value opportunity for SC members. Stay tuned.....
If everything plays out right I may be seeing you within the next 3 weeks . I hope you decide on the SC discount by then lol

Default Bolton Ford understands SERVICE

I have to chime in here. When I moved back to Louisiana last year, I needed a new vehicle for my wife. I have always dreaded buying vehicles, because of all the BS that goes on at the dealership. I really don't like to haggle, and the entire process usually just makes me frustrated and angry. Well, I ended up considering Ford (which I had never owned before). I just have to say that Bolton Ford impressed me every step of the way. They understand customer SERVICE. I did not have a whole day to spend at the dealership, so I called and told them what I was interested in and what I wanted to pay. We talked for a few minutes on the phone, and JOHN ROBINSON told me what he had. I drove to the dealership, the vehicle was out front, cleaned up, and he was waiting for me. I liked it and told him I wanted my wife to check it out. No problem. She went to the dealership, they gave her the keys and told her to drive it home and try it out for a day. Not only that, JEREMY SOILEAU got me a ridiculous amount of money for the vehicle my wife was trading in. I could go on and on. Even after the purchase, they continue to go the extra mile. For what it's worth, we bought the Expedition, and it has been even better than we expected. Of course, the quality vehicle is important, but Bolton's service is why my next truck will be a Ford. Thanks KING. Your staff is amazing.

Well, here is my Bolton Ford story. Went to look and only look, they though so much of me they let me take the truck home for the entire weekend!! Got right on the money Monday and even transferred my dog box into it for me. Several weeks go by and right front tire keeps loosing air pressure so bring it in and Brian explains that someone had put a plug on inside wall. He put a new tire on and I paid the road hazard charge of $10 in less than 30 min. Service Dept got hot donuts the next morning for actually providing Service!

DrJay and Raymond, thank you for sharing each of your experiences. I'm truly humbled by your comments. As I'm sure everyone here knows, people tend to dwell on the negative, so it's refreshing to have so much positive feedback. I wish I could say that I'm directly responsible for making each of you happy, but as your posts describe, you were each treated professionally by good people. Fortunately, Bolton Ford is comprised of good people, and I've found this to make all the difference. Thank you again for supporting Ford and for buying local! King Bolton
