I want the extra 10" of beam. I am going to try to get a ride in a 2200 with a 150, especially before I write a check for one. The new yamaha 150's put out way more than 150hp... With tabs and a proper prop I think I will be ok. I will try to get a ride in a bx22 also.

I promise you in 6 months you are gonna kick yourself for not putting a 200-250 on it .

No doubt. I think you should always try and get close to max hp no matter what you are buying. If you want the power, you got it. The 150 at cruse will not be much better on gas, if any than the 250 at the same speed.
