Twisted Offshore takes 3rd at the Bastante Bill Fish Tournament!!

My partners Matt and John fished the bastante tournament down in south texas this weekend and took third! John also fished a tournament in galveston the last week of june and they took second.

The weigh in was at 6pm last night. We missed the 1st place dolphin by 9oz. They tagged and released 3 marlin, 2 blue near the 350 range and a white. Missed a estimated 450 and a 550-650 blue (broke the main line) that would have won the tournament for us. Also missed a 90lb tuna at the boat which would have been near or at the top of the leader board.

Third place over all boat isnt to bad!! All the fish were caught on either the 50 or 80 class Twisted Offshore trolling rods.

Home it don't stop. We have a HT3 event in port aransas starting Thursday.
