P.S. You DO have to have a captains license to take hunters hunting in a boat if you use navigatble waterways!

The point I was making was there is a high price for doing business when guiding hunting trips, and it's only for a few months a year. And a man in the tree cutting business works year round, a very good friend of mine owns a tree service and is highly successful. I wasn't complaining about the price to do business, just making a point that its already a high overhead and having to pay for a license that essentially won't do a damn thing is pointless. The good guides are very successful and can make a nice profit in those few months a year, not enough to support you all year but if your self employed and can swing two jobs during hunting season, it can be rewarding. I have no interest in guiding, I would rather pay for a lease with the money I make working for da man and hunt with my friends. Thanks for clearing up the captains license thing, I didn't know about the navigable waterways.
