Default night fishing

Has anyone been night fishing for trout out of the point. or burns point?
I used to fish Eugene island 51 at night a few years ago. does anyone still fish there at night?

I don't fish that area but can tell you the rigs south of oyster bayou have been on fire.

I fish that area often and do not know where oyster bayou is. Couldn't find it on google earth either.

It's in the four league bay area towards dularge.

It's on there me and a co-worker were looking at it the othere day. It's between Dularge and Morgan City kinda.

It is south of four league bay

You can launch in Berwick and run down the river thru 4 league bay or go to the du and run the outside. SS 28 (Mardi Gras ) and 31 are on fire. Traditionally bigger trout at 31 from my history.

I'm heading out in about 2 hours. SS 31 bound. They have been starting about 9pm. Hope to have 100 by 11 pm.

Just getting back to the house we did not make it out. Made it about six miles down the river and the motor started acting like it has trash in the filter. Tried cleaning the one I can get to with no luck. At first the motor would idle for 2 or 3 minutes then kill. About half way back to the ramp it would not do that. Had to put the troling motor in for the rest of the way back. I'm going to tear it down tomorrow when I get home and see what's up. At least it did it early in the trip and not when we were in the gulf.
