Default Launch on Davis Road
Is that launch on Davis Road in Cameron open? I've never been there but would like to fish that area tomorrow and that launch is much closer than CP. Also where would I get live bait in that area? Cast net or buy.

It's in Cameron right? Launch, turn left and the jetties are not far right? Cast net for bait?

Yep in Cameron almost at the end of the road. U can see the jetties at the launch. You should be able to cast net mullet and pogey around the jetties but if not you can run all the way up to spicers or dugas in hackberry. I think they only sell shrimp though

You can buy live bait next to the monkey island ferry. He's called the "crab man". If he's still there though. Haven't been on that end in a few years.

If you go out to the Jetties and then go the the East side.... you can usually find schools of bait up near the bank.
