I had Rob Chouinard and David Samis from Canada on board the Big Bluewave Saturday. The guys are in town visiting and wanted to check out the scenes and catch a few fish. One stop and we had the trout coming in from all directions. Lots of small fish, but plenty action for the guys. Birds and shrimp flying everywhere had the guys amazed. After a few hours of fishing and a nice mess of trout in the box the sky was closing in on us. Checking the radar...it did not look good. We though about waiting it out, but with the storm all the way North to Baton Rouge we decided to head to the dock. We just made it to the dock in time as the sky fell and the winds were howling. Cleaned the fish for the guys as they were happy as could be. Double rigged Matrix Shad, Cocodrie cocahoes, and Power-Bait shrimp under a cork did the trick. Fresh fish for them last night!! Thanks guys for such and enjoyable trip.
