Popping bugs are great for bream, Look up Accardo, Betts or Pecks all make excellant bream bugs, Have caught a ton on the Accardo "Miss Prissy". Check out the Bass popping bugs also. Tell you what I have. I have a 9' custom made fly rod in a 8 weight, It's light enough to catch bream, but still has enough backbone to catch reds. Caught several 27" reds but it was all it wanted!!!!!! JUST HANG ON & WISH IT WELL!!!! A FREAKING BLAST!
