Default Lake Okhissa report

WELL, I haven't wrote a fishing report in a while, so here goes! Bass club decided to pick lake okhissa to fish this month, definitely not my pick but I missed the club meeting! I fished with Steve Reeves out of his Ranger, all my fish were too small under 12inches and all but two of his fish were too big! Lake Okhissa has a throw back slot of 18-22inches. He had 4 that were in the slot to throw back, real nice healthy looking bass. All caught on a chug bug! and I was expecting it to be a warmer morning then it was this morning. it was cool and windy til about 1pm.

That's the thing about slot lakes... It can be hard to catch keepers but the quality of fish is usually very good. Nice pics and thanks for the report!

Tossing back 6 lb fish is TOUGH! but Mississippi has some great trophy lakes because you have to.
