Default VB 10/4-5

Had a great weekend on the bay with the wife and fished the tournament at Don's Boat Landing. Weather was beautiful, winds were light outa the SE and water clarity was great all over as well. Quite a few limits were caught under the birds all weekend. It didn't seem matter where you were. Though I missed two really nice specks at boat while attempting to net em. Was so depressed! Shoulda, woulda, coulda!

Chicken on a chain seemed to be the color of the weekend.

Watched countless boats run wide open between me and other boats fishing, the hole time I was doin the ol under hand flip into the boat! It was fish on almost every cast, even with boats zooming around on both sides of us.

Everything was goin good until my trolling motor decided to take off wide open on it's own and almost threw me in the water. It was hilarious, the trolling motor was running wide open while my power pole was down so I was just going in circles until I could get the hatch open to unplug it, all the while fighting a fish. I'm sure I put on quite a show as people were lookin at me wondering *** is that technique! haha

Weekend wasn't total lost though, I won a Shimano Core 100MG reel mounted on a Waterloo rod in a raffle at Don's landing. SWEET!!!!!!

A big thanks to Tony, the owner of Don's Landing, and Troy Leblanc for putting on the tournament!

Trolling motor is fixed, fried the circuit board. Superior Trolling motor in Lafayette came through once again! 24hr turnaround, That's what I call service.
