Mine was an 05 also
And the light dimming issue was on my truck too If I hit the windows, side mirror controls , blinker , locks etc my interior lights would dim. Never figured that out. Btw I ran a red top optima battery; so there was plenty of power. My mother n law had an 05 explorer that had identical issues. And on the f150 forum there are loads of similar issues with 05 models.
