facepalm

This one here is for W

If the tail being blue indicates that the fish is active, and a non-active fish is 'regular' color (reddish), and we know that more blood would be pumping to the tail of an active fish, and that blood is red, yet the fish's tail is blue when there is more red blood pumping to the tail, it would seem that the tail should be red when active, how is this possible?

FOUND THE ANSWER!

Ron Burgundy: Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it Blue tailed redfish, which of course in German means the fish was swimming in pollution
Veronica Corningstone: No, there's no way that's correct. Ron Burgundy: I'm sorry, I was trying to impress you. I don't know what it means. I'll be honest, I don't think anyone knows what it means anymore. Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago.
Veronica Corningstone: Doesn't it mean blood rushing to the tail from an active fish? Ron Burgundy: No. No.
Veronica Corningstone: No, that's - that's what it means. Really. Ron Burgundy: Agree to disagree
