Default Hopedale 9-19 and 9-20

Went down to Hopedale again this weekend to get my fix. Saturday took my dad for his second trip, we brought home 6 reds, 2 nice specks and a flounder. Yak'em and I went today and tore the fish up. Well, Yak'em had a magic bait that allowed him to do slightly more tearing. I better tell it that way before he posts because he is definitely going to tell it that way. Fished hard for a good 9 hours today but had a blast. Started the day with a first for me. I hooked about a 13 or 14 inch trout on a mirror lure. Had the thing about 6 feet from the boat when a good redfish started circling the fish. The big red nailed my trout and instantly killed it then proceeded to tear if the hooks of the lure. I told Yak'em to throw his top dog which he did. Immediately, the fish nailed the lure and the fight was on. Yak'em landed the 29" red and now we have a great story to tell. He has a pic I am sure he will post. We came home with 2 limits of reds, 1 speck, and a flounder. We caught at least 20 reds today throwing back anything over 21" and a few that weren't legal. All in all another great weekend of fishing.
